Introduction

The Seminary currently offers degree programs, which include the Bachelor of Theology, Master of Divinity, Master of Divinity (Further Studies), Master of Religious Education, Master of Christian Studies, Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology. In 1995 and 1998, the Lay Theological Education program and Distance Education program were launched respectively to promote lay leadership theological training and specialized ministry training.
The Applied Theological Education Center was opened in 2002 to enhance further development of theological training courses for the churches.

Aim

The Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary, established in 1951 and incorporated as NGO in 2013, offers leadership training to Christian who are called by God to minister to churches and the society through the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Service Scope:
Theological educational services are provided to Christians from all walks of life, regardless of age, gender, and race. Subject areas for teaching and learning include the Bible, Theology, and Practical Theology such as Religious Education, Pastoral Care, Church Music, and Counseling.
